DLO - Problem Solving

Today for maths I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) to solve a subtraction problem with decimals. I found this easy because I have been doing a DLO for maths, reading and for inquiry and this has become very easy now.

Balloon Division Game

Today for maths I played a game with division problems, in this game you have to match the balloons with the right colours and you have to try and guess if the division problem is true or false. I found this game quite easy because I know my multiplication and I know which answer is right or wrong. I want to improve on knowing all my multiplication so that I can know my division to.

Stage 7 Prototec

Today for maths I did stage 7 for prototec ad I got 40/40 and that is the highest I've ever got for stage 7 I think I found this easy because I'm starting to understand how to convert the fractions into percentages and percentages into decimals. I want to improve on getting more 100% on stage 7

DLO

In this DLO I had to solve a fraction using multiplication and division. I think I found this easy beacause I have done this lots of times and I am use to it.

Matific

For maths today we went on a site called matific and has maths equasions for all ages I played my year level that is year 7. I played a game with the four operations and it is quite hard because you have learn your division and multiplication

DLO Of Strategy

Today for maths I had to explain what we did in our maths group using a DLO. This startegy was quite hard from the beginning but now it is quite easy to solve now.

Prototec

Today for maths we had to do prototec and I got 100% on stage 7 as you can see I think I've improved a lot since the other time I tried to do this. I want to work harder so that I can solve problems on stage 8 and become a positive and smarter person.

Prototec

Today for maths we have done prototec I got 100% on stage 7, I think I have improved a lot because I would always get 85 %  because I didn't know how to convert the fractions into decimals but now I know how to do it It quite easy. I want to improve on trying to do hard levels on prototec. 

DLO

I found this easy because I know how to solve decimal multiplication problems because Miss D taught us last term and I think I know this strategy pretty well. I think that Miss D should teach us some harder strategies or give us harder problems.

Prototec

Today for maths we had to do prototec, as you can see I got 85 percent on stage 7. On stage 7 I got the fractions and factors wrong because I still don’t know how to convert percentages to fractions and I sometimes forget what factors. I want to improve on knowing how to convert percentages to fractions and to remember what factors.

Multiplication Problem

Today for our collaborative problem solving me and my friend sarah worked together and explained our multiplication strategy. We found this pretty easy because every friday we sometimes get multiplication problems so we know the strategy off by heart.

Equivalent Fractions

Today for maths we had to play a fractions game, in this game we had to find what was equivalent to each other. I found this game quite easy because you can times the first number to the second number and you can find your answer from the second number. I want to improve on getting onto a harder level and try to beat my current score. 

Prototec Practice Test

Today for maths we had to do Prototec to learn our basic facts as you can see I got 90 percent, I want to improve on learning on how to change decimal problems into fractions. Next time I do prototec I hope I already know to convert decimals into fractions.
